60 Years of the Grateful Dead | Retrospective Exhibition
Opening December 6, 2025 – June 1, 2026 | Grass Valley, California
The Chambers Project Gallery and PACT: Psychedelic Arts and Culture Trust present 60 Years of the Grateful Dead, the most comprehensive exhibition of original Grateful Dead artwork ever assembled. Curated by Brian Chambers, the show brings together iconic posters, album covers, sketches, and artifacts by legendary artists including Rick Griffin, Stanley Mouse, Alton Kelley, Victor Moscoso, Wes Wilson, Bill Walker, and more.
Highlights include Rick Griffin’s original Aoxomoxoa drawing and Without a Net paintings, Bill Walker’s psychedelic Anthem of the Sun mandala, rare Acid Test posters by Paul Foster and Owsley “Bear” Stanley, and the original A Skeleton Amidst Roses illustration that inspired the band’s most enduring iconography. Contemporary artists such as AJ Masthay, and Zoltron extend the tradition.
The exhibition opens two days after the band’s founding anniversary, preceded by a December one-night concert event with Dead Supergroup featuring an all star lineup of iconic musicians. More details to come!
Limited-edition, officially licensed merchandise curated by Zoltron will be available exclusively on site.
